26 novembre Seminar This Week!There will be another seminar this week according to Dr. Louis
Buatois. On Friday, November 30th at 4pm in Geol. 155, the seminar
will be given by Karla Panchuk (Penn State), with Andy Ridgwell
(University of Bristol) and Lee Kump (Penn State) as coauthors. The
title of the talk is:
"CSI Paleocene: Suspected perpetrators of the Paleocene-Eocene
climate catastrophe and the evidence that might convict them"

Student Careers NightStudent Careers Night is an open house to all U of S geology students
or anyone who is interested in a great opportunity to network with both industry and government-based Geologists. To this point, we expect representatives from the following companies, with possibly more to come: Claude Resources, PCS Potash, Denison Mines Corp., Cameco, Athabasca Potash Inc., Pitchstone Exploration Ltd., Hathor Exploration, Canalaska Uranium Ltd., Areva Resources Canada Inc. This will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 5:30pm in the Kelsey Room at the Delta Bessborough. Food and beverages will be provided, and don't forget to bring your resume. 7 novembre Cameco Hockey Night!Hey Everyone,
This Saturday the 10th, there will be a game held against the Cameco Hockey team versus the Geology crew Hockey Team at the Gemini Hockey Arena. The game will be held from 6-7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun cheering on the Geology Team. Before, during, and after the game drinks will be available to all fans and/or spectators and, of course, the hockey players from the bar that is inside the arena. I hope you all come out and have a great time.
